TUNING
Tuning of piano/grand piano is carried out using traditional aural tuning techniques. A tuning takes about 2–3 hours to complete.
The price for a tuning is SEK 2000. Tuning is mainly offered in Sala and the surrounding area, including Heby, Västerås, Uppsala, Avesta, Enköping, Eskilstuna and more. Longer travel distances are also possible.
Travel expenses are added at SEK 35 per 10 km round trip.
FULL REGULATION
A full regulation of a piano or grand piano is a sound investment to ensure the optimal playing experience. The entire action is gone through: lubricating moving parts, filing hammers, adjusting the dampers, setting the key height, and more.
The time required varies from instrument to instrument. A rough estimate is 20–25 hours, but it can take either less or more time depending on the condition of the instrument.
The cost is charged per hour, currently 800 SEK/hour.
REPAIRS
Is there a piano or grand piano at home, perhaps an old family heirloom, where for example a key gets stuck when playing or does not make any sound at all? There is absolutely no need to throw the piano away! In most cases, something can be done about it.
The instrument can be inspected to see whether it can be repaired. The inspection fee is SEK 500 + possible mileage compensation of SEK 35/km round trip.
Minor repairs are included with tuning. More extensive repairs are charged by labour (SEK 800/hour) + any material costs.
