About me

My name is Jens Persholt. I was born and raised in a village outside Sala called Broddbo.

I have always been interested in music and have played keyboard since I was eight, guitar since I was fifteen, and sung for as long as I can remember.

In upper secondary school I studied Aesthetic Music at Kungsängsskolan in Sala. I trained as a piano technician in the piano technician program at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm between 2021–2023.

In July 2022 I started my company Pianotjenst i Sala to be able to offer tuning, regulation and repair of pianos and grand pianos for private individuals, churches, concert halls, music studios and more.

After passing a professional exam consisting of theory, service, repair and tuning, since June 2024 I have been a member of SPTF, the Swedish Association of Piano Tuners and Technicians.
